At Intamin Holland B.V., we specialize in mechanical design and structural, dynamical, and fatigue analysis of dynamically loaded structures, such as roller coasters, free fall rides, and giant wheels. We utilize Simcenter 3D software from Siemens for structural and multibody analyses. This cutting-edge software allows us to perform comprehensive evaluations to ensure the safety and efficiency of our designs.

Our engineers are experts in Finite Element Analyses (FEA), enabling us to assess whether structures can withstand anticipated loads. We specialize in the fatigue and static assessment of dynamically loaded structures. Additionally, we conduct modal analysis to determine a structure‘s eigenfrequencies and perform buckling analysis to ensure safety against structural failure.

Through multibody analysis, we predict and understand the dynamic behavior of mechanisms. This analysis helps calculate reaction loads and kinematic parameters, transforming CAD geometry into accurate motion models with detailed animations.

Our team evaluates the strength of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) structures by defining ply properties, draping directions, and other crucial parameters. This allows for reliable assessments of laminate composite structures, leveraging our extensive database of tested ply properties and manufacturing expertise within the Intamin group.
